High Res Helmets

High resolution pixel art of clone trooper Odd High resolution pixel art of clone trooper Kodokun
High resolution pixel art of clone trooper PvP High resolution pixel art of clone trooper Ecks

These helmets were made as commisions.

Starting from the top left we have, Odd, Kodokun, PvP and Ecks (Me)

My process for making these helmets starts with making a blockout of high contrast colours, like orange and green in the example below. Then I make it the real colours it is going to be. After I start blocking out the body and fill that in. And the finally comes the fun part of adding the paint.

Pixel Helmets

104th Battalion Milsim

The 104th battalion milsim is an online community where they play the game Star Wars Battlefront II. I got a lot of requests to make pixel art helmets for people. This is a compilation of all the people in the community at the time split into their respective units.

I make these helmets based on a template I've made. I then reference the helmet they have in that discord server, give it the right attachments and paint it.

Here you see the dissected helmet of 'Uniqueze'

Clone Trooper Helmet Templates

On the right you see all the templates I've made for this project. These are all based on different clone troopers in Star Wars: the Clone Wars.

Starting from the top left we have: Desert Trooper, Clone Engineer, Scout Trooper, Arc Trooper (phase 2), Clone Commando, Clone Pilot (Phase 1), Clone trooper (Phase 1), Clone Trooper (Phase 2), V-Wing Pilot, Y-Wing Pilot, Stealth Pilot, Jet Trooper, Airborn Trooper, ARF Trooper, Heavy Clone Gunner, Clone Gunner.

All of these have multiple different accesories or even entire faceplate changes. This was done to minimize the amount of different files. To give an example, the phase 2 clone trooper template that I've made has 4 different face plates, 6 attachments and 2 visor replacements

Visit the Galaxy

This is a collection of 4 different cities in the Star Wars galaxy.

We have the floating city on Bespin, the collosal marine cities on Kamino, the luxurious palaces on Naboo and the skyscrapers of Coruscant.

For this piece I wanted to experiment with different methods of drawing clouds and water. So each piece got a completely different style

A collection of 4 pieces, all depicting different planets from orbit in the Star Wars universe

Planets from Orbit

These are 4 planets in Star Wars.

There is the sandy planet Geonosis, the watery planet Kamino, the lucious planet Kashyyyk and the bioluminescent Umbara.

I made these pieces to be used as backgrounds in some other pieces. So they are quite basic, but get the job done. I did want to focus on making the shading and atmosphere as realistic as possible and I'm quite happy with how that turned out.
